![]() So with either of those set to 0, if I enter a new board on day one there will be 10 pawns, if I go back to that board on peak day it will still be 10 pawns because either the game never checked it again after I first entered (respawn hours = 0) or every time it checkes the board it added 0% of the needed pawns to the board (respawn multiplier= 0)Īgreed on a lot though my problem is where are the hoarder's house I mean I understand why in an apartment there few tools but at my house I have like five shovels four hoes a pitch fork two metal rakes seven hammers too many screw drivers to count and don't get me started on knives not to mention reading material oh my.there is close to two hundred book just in my house alone. But if the respawn hours (how often it checks to add new pawns) or the respawn multiplier (the percent of maximum pawns it will add every time it checks the board) is 0, whatever the maximum number of pawns on the board is when you first enter the board will always be the number of pawns there. So if you enter a new chess board on day one it will add 10 pawns. Now you have to understand every time you enter a new "chunk" which is a large square of the map, it's a new board. Setting the respawn multiplier to 0 means it adds 0% of the maximum pawns on one board, so it also never adds more pawns. ![]() Setting respawn hours to 0 tells the game to never check the board, so it never adds more pawns. So when the game checks the board, it would see it needs to add pawns, so its going to add 10% of 15 pawns, which would be 1.5 rounded up to 2 pawns. If it were the peak day, the maximum pawns on the board would be 15. Let's say the maximum number of pawns on a board is 10 and there are currently 5 pawns, the game checks the board and sees it needs to add more pawns, it takes the "respawn multiplier" which by default is 0.1 (10%), and multiplies that by the maximum (10 pawns), and adds that many pawns, so it would add 1 pawn. ![]() The game checks the board periodically to see the maximum number of pawns and, if the current pawns are less than the maximum, it adds a fraction of that to the board. By default it's 1.5 so that would be 15 pawns. The "population peak multiplier" is how many pawns will be on the board at the peak day. The amount of black pawns on the board when the game starts is the "population start multiplier" let's say it's 10. ![]() Jamieson Dean 20w Imagine project zomboid is a bunch of magic chess boards where white only has one piece (the player), and black has many pawns (the zombies). ![]()
